ABOUT THE EVENT

Topic:- Food Mountains and Lockdown Hunger: Policy Emergency in India

“A Sacrifice is a selfless act which deserves to be remembered. When a fight for right begins, it is half won and the journey deserves to be commemorated with the same determination that It began with. “

“Tribal Echoes” is one such event that pledges to honour every sacrifice made by the folk hero: Birsa Munda.Birsa Munda was an indian tribal freedom fighter. He spearheaded a tribal religious Millenarian movement that arose in the Bengal Presidency in the late 19th century, during the British Raj, thereby making him an important figure in Indian history. He sacrificed his entire life and then died fighting for the rights of tribal communities. The fight is yet to be fought for which we require not to forget the ideals and sacrifices of Birsa Munda.

We are proud to announce First National Virtual art , culture & literature pakhwada in remembrance of the sacrifices of Birsa Munda. It is a complete _fourteen day event beginning from 5th June 2020 to 18th June 2020.
