The Judgment Deliberation Competition, 2020[ 6th-7th March 2020] by SPIL; Registration open


Students for Promotion of International Law (SPIL), Mumbai will be organizing The Judgment Deliberation Competition, 2020 to be held on the 6th and 7th of March, 2020.
The Judgment Deliberation Competition (JDC) was conceived within the portals of our hallowed institution Government Law College, eleven years ago as a part of SPIL, Mumbai’s annual flagship event: The International Law Summit. The JDC essentially expects participants to arrive at a judgment, after analysis of facts and arguments presented from both the sides.

The structure of the JDC is as follows:

1. The Judgment Presentation Round: Participants will be required to present their judgments.
2. The Commenting Round: Participants are encouraged to make pertinent observations on the points made by their colleagues.
3. The Conclusion Round: Participants are allowed an opportunity to summarize and make concluding statements.

The Awards for the competition shall include:

‘Best Team’ Award : INR 20,000/- ;
‘Runners-Up Team’ Award : INR 14,000 /- and;
‘Best Written Judgment’ Award : INR 10,000 /- .
