About the competition
SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law is organising it’s 9th edition of its Legislative Drafting Competition called “CONFICIENDIS LEGISLATIVA”.
Students have to draft a legislative bill on the topic: Regulation of Marine Pollution.
How to submit?
The Participants have to send the soft copy of the Legislative bill by the 24th March by 23:59 hrs to mcs.svkm[at]gmail.com.
The Participants will have to send 3 Hard Copies of the Bill by 27th March by 16:00 hrs to SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mithibai College Campus, 8th Floor, Bhaktivedanta Swami Marg, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai- 400056.’
Eligibility for participation
Participation is restricted to students currently studying in Law colleges only. Law schools/colleges recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the Ninth National Legislative Drafting Competition, 2020.
The team may comprise of a maximum number of 2 members. A maximum of 3 entries is permitted from each institution.
The Students interested are required to send the duly completed registration form to mcs.svkm[at]gmail.com along with a scanned copy of a Demand Draft in favour of “PRAVIN GANDHI COLLEGE OF LAW”, payable at Mumbai of Rs. 2000/- (per entry) (Two Thousand Only) as the registration fee.
The hard copy of the same must be sent to SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mithibai College Campus, 8th Floor, Bhaktivedanta Swami Marg, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai- 400056.’
The Participants have to register provisionally by sending an email to mcs.svkm[at]gmail.com by 20th February 2020 before 16:00 hrs.
The email should include the following:
- Name of the institute,
- Name of the participants, and
- Contact details of the participants.
The last date for sending the soft copy of the registration form is 2nd March 2020. The last date for sending the hard copy of the registration form and the Demand draft is 7th March 2020.
All the formalities have to be completed in order to confirm the participation.
