About the Competition
Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) are a significant ladder for sourcing power from renewable energy sources and overcoming the paucity faced due to the use of traditional funding sources. The Competition attempts to promote awareness about PPAs in the legal community. It seeks to engage with the community of law students to promote the art of modern legal drafting, in the less popular area of Energy Law. It aims at providing opportunities to the students to initiate research about legal certainties and further the skill of drafting. In a collaborative effort, the Competition will be judged by a panel comprising of members of the judiciary, legal experts from L&L Partners, experts from ISRO and Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd., and academicians from RGNUL Patiala, NLSIU Bengaluru and HPNLU Shimla.
