This charitable Trust aims to reach out to all, irrespective of their standing in the society, without any discrimination. The V. G. Vaze College is a multi-faculty institution established in 1984 by the trust. Vaze College is the first NAAC accredited college in the State of Maharashtra with top ‘Five Star’ ranking and was re-accredited in second cycle with ‘A’ Grade in 2005 as well as in third cycle in 2012. Our Junior College is awarded with ‘A’ Grade by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education.

About the Speaker:
*Dr. Rashmi M. Oza is a Reader and Former Head of Dept. of Law, University of Mumbai. An alumna of Government Law College and the Dept. of Law, University of Mumbai, Dr. Oza practiced before the Bombay High Court as an Advocate and Sr. Central Government Counsel for more than a decade, simultaneously teaching various legal subjects at K. C. Law College, Mumbai as a Visiting Professor. In July 1998, she had the privilege to represent India at the International Institute of Human Rights, Strasbourg, France where she also completed Teachers’ Training Course in Human Rights. In September 2002, she was the only participant selected from India to participate in Advanced International Training Programme at Sweden, where she presented a paper on ‘Violence against Women in India’ before the Committee Members of United Nations. In March 2003, she was awarded International Diploma in Human Rights with distinction, by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Sweden. Dr. Oza is also the Incharge Chair Professor – Justice M. C. Chagla Chair in “Human Rights and Civil Liberties”.
