The NorthCap University, formerly ITM University, is an autonomous university situated in Sector 23-A, Gurgaon, Haryana, India. It was founded in 1996 by Educate India Society, registered under the Registration of Societies Act of 1860 as an Engineering Institute, to provide education in Technical and Management.
About the Moot
The NCU Law School National Moot Court Competition (VII Edition) (hereinafter referred as MCC) shall be held on 11th & 12th April 2020 at THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY, HUDA Sector 23A, Gurugram- 122017, Haryana.
- Law schools/Colleges/Institutes/Universities, recognized by the Bar Council of India, are eligible to participate in the MCC. The participants should currently be pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in law i.e., Three-Year or Five-Year Law Courses.
- Students who have completed their law courses are not eligible to participate in the competition.
- Only one team can register from a particular law school/College/ Institute/University to participate in the NMCC.
- Only those members designated as Speakers will be permitted to put forth oral arguments in the Competition.
Teams are supposed to complete provisional registration by 02nd March 2020 by sending soft copy of registration form at mootcourt2020[at]ncuindia.edu.
There’s no limitation on the number of teams participating in NMCC 2020, However, the registration is done in the due date, Participating teams will be confirmed about their participation by an e-mail on 03rd March 2020 (Soft copy).
The selected teams are required to submit a soft copy of the Registration Form, Travel Form and Demand Draft of participation fee of Rs. 4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand Only) drawn in favour of “THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY” payable at Gurugram/New Delhi on or before 09th March 2020.
The students requiring accommodation have to pay Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only) per team per day (including all food and travel i.e. from the Accommodation to the University and vice-versa only on the dates of competition). The said amount shall be sent as Demand Draft drawn in favour of “THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY” payable at Gurugram/New Delhi as a soft copy on or before 09th March 2020 and the hardcopy by 30th March 2020.
The participants are required to send the Registration form, Travel form and hardcopy of Demand Draft via post latest by 30th March 2020 addressed to:
