Institute of Law was set up under the aegis of Nirma University in the year 2007 with a mission to promote excellence in the field of legal education and to fulfill the ever-increasing demand of quality legal professionals for a growing legal world. In a short span of time, this Institute has accomplished and continues to expand its horizon. We follow an approach to legal education wherein learning experience is not only enlightening but also enriching and inspiring.
Institute of Law is committed to exploring multidisciplinary approaches and revolutionizing legal education by adapting to the changing world in which law practitioners operate. ILNU is looking at bringing about a paradigm shift in the delivery of legal education in the country. It aims to add new dimensions in legal education that would incorporate international standards thereby providing an environment which would enhance freedom and innovation in the dynamic pursuit of thoughts.
About 09th ILNU National Moot Court Competition, 2019 in Collaboration with Competition Commission of India :-
The 9th edition of ILNU Moot Court Competition, 2019 is scheduled to be held from 11th October 2019 to 13th October 2019. Institute of Law, Nirma University has earlier effectively organized Eight Moot Court Competitions.
Apart from the flagship ILNU Moot Court Competitions, the Mooting Culture at the Institute of Law has been recognized by various organizations like BCI and ICRC. Wherefore, the 27th BCI All India Inter-University Moot Court Competition, 2012 and 14th Henry Durant Memorial Moot Court Competition, North Zonal Rounds, 2014 was also hosted by Institute of Law, Nirma University.
9th ILNU National Moot Court Competition, 2019- in Collaboration with Competition Commission of India is an effort made by the Institute to contribute to the emerging field of Competition Law. Institute of Law believes that law schools should play a significant role in nurturing the growth of the subject through their curricula and other events, and also suggest appropriate reforms to law. With the aim of fostering quality research and debate on anti-trust matters, ILNU, in collaboration with the CCI is organizing this Moot Court Competition.
